POLITICAL NAME CALLING, AGAIN

History was made on Tuesday when Hillary Clinton became the first woman in United States history to be nominated by a major political party for president.

But here at jaynachman.com we focus on what’s really important in politics. The funny names of the candidates.

In California, there was a musical theme, and many of the candidates were not singing a happy song.

Libertarian candidate for U.S. Senate, Gail Lightfoot, might have felt like she was winnin’ when she was losin’ again in the primrary. In a U.S. Congressional race, it was a stupid bloody Tuesday for Democrat Michael Eggman who lost his bid for office. Goo goo g’ joob.

You know what might make them feel a little better? How about some nice soulful saxophone music by … John Uebersax, who lost his in contest for a U.S. House seat in California.

In results that would have made Bobby Fuller happy, Alex Law in New Jersey and Phil Law in North Carolina fought for U.S. Congressional election victories and the Laws lost.

Meanwhile, back in California, Republican Mike Canada lost his primary battle for a congressional seat. Just a thought: Maybe he ran in the wrong country.

And in Ohio, a candidate for tried to foist his views on the electorate, but they weren’t having any of that and Democrat Corey Foister lost his Congressional race.

In North Carolina John Blust lost in a Republican primary. Maybe more “er” would have helped. In the same race, another losing candidate with a too-light vote total was Kathy Feather.
